Hey clomid chicks can i take Clomid 100 mg for 7 days? I saw that other women has done this can you take the pill for 7 day's on your cycle ? I have done clomid before i just want to know for just wanting to know.

Vicky replied: "Normally it's a 5-day cycle, depending on what your doctor has prescribed. Various levels of ovulation require different timing for Clomid. For example, if you're ovulating but simply need a boost, you'll take the 5-day course at a different time than if you're trying to trigger ovulation. Most people I know start on CD1m CD3 or CD5. I'd be a little wary of taking it for 7, but that will all depend on what your doctor has said and why. If you take it at the wrong time you run the risk of hyper-ovarian syndrome which can cause infertility and has been known to be fatal. Call your doc!"

Hey clomid chicks im on cd 29 and i started spotting is this normal for taking clomid? I'm on Clomid 50mg cd3-7 I made it to CD 29, I started spotting brown. What is going on? I was cramping last night like I was going to get my period. I called my DR Friday, he said "it's not really normal, but I'm not to worried about." I'm starting not to like him . I've never had spotting before during my cycle and my cycles have always been normal 28-30 days long. Thank you ladies for reading I hope it makes sense any advice would be great:)

Rocker Wife replied: "Did they confirm that you ovulated this cycle? In any case, if your cycle is usually 28-30 days long and you're on CD29 and spotting, I would say your period is on the way."

frank replied: "spotting brown could be a good sign especially before you expect af. You might be one of the few to get implantation bleeding, which i've heard can last a week but usually one day spotting. I hope u get ur bfp"

starcatcher3355 replied: "Clomid tends to lengthen cycles but this could be an exception and your period is starting but usually it's red spotting useless the spotting was very mild. If the cramps where mild plus the brown spotting--it could be implantation. It all depends on when you ovulated."

janna w replied: "It could be implantation bleeding.Sometimes implantation bleeding can mimic a period( heavy flow) but usually is just spotting or a brownish discharge. Its common to have when the fertilized egg implants into the uterus and begin to grow a baby. If you don't like your doctor get a new one, Your comfort is whats most important!"

Erica replied: "Hello, I was just wondering why you are taking clomid if your cycles are regular 28-30 days long. It sounds like you're ovulating on your own. Anyhoo, just wondering.."

Hey clomid chicks I have weird light brownish discharge from CD28-30 PREGNANT? Was this impltaion spotting ? it was a little light pink too Could I be pregnant? buschchick6902 replied: "You are explaining the side effects of Clomid...I was told by my doctor when talking Clomid (because my period was late and having pregnancy symtoms) that it would not be shocking if a person had a 40 day cycle while on the medication...and my nipples were sensitive which my doc said it was due to the hormones in the pills, lower back pain was because your ovaries do tend to swell alittle on the meds, bloated is also from the pills...the light brownish discharge could be from your period trying to start...the only way to fully find out what its from is to see a doctor...but I am just saying that everything you described happened to me and it was all normal side effects from the pills"

beetlemilk replied: "Good luck! If PCOS may be an issue for you, when your RE sends you to do serial hcg levels, ask for a progesterone level too. Low progesterone can cause bleeding, and it is easily fixed with progesterone supplements. No need in others losing a pregnancy due to something so simple, so I pass it on."

Hey Clomid Chicks CD19no ovulation yet! clomid50mg days3-7Just want to know who is on the same cycle with me? - and what you are experiencing. I feel some cramping on both ovaries (on and off), they started from CD16 HOW ABOUT YOU? I started some cramping today and a little increase in cm. I am doing OPK's and charting and no positive on either one. The doctor said if nothing by Friday call him Monday and he would do blood work and/or ultrasound to look at things. :)Thank you for all your wonderful incite Baby dust to all of you!!!

rlw88keys replied: "Hi there! Well, I'm not on CD 19 yet but this is CD 4 of my first round of 50 mg Clomid, days 3-7. I'm a little behind you but I can tell you what my doctor told me to expect - he said that in most of his patients' experiences, they usually ovulate between CD 16 - 18, or around 9 days after the last pill of Clomid. I know from experience that you can sometimes miss your LH surge on your OPK's if you don't test at exactly the right time, so maybe you actually have ovulated already (you say you have increased CM & cramping). Also, a couple friends of mine at work said that when they took Clomid they sometimes ovulated as late as CD 20-something. It depends on your body, I guess. Here is a website with a Clomid ovulation date calculator that I have used: It really seems to match up nicely with what my doctor said, & maybe it can help you! Good luck & loads of baby dust to you! :)"
