ACAI BERRY diet on (oprah and rachael ray)? I notice this in adds alot so has anyone tried it? What are your results? Was it really on Rachael Ray and Oprah?

kidhasan replied: "I think Oprah has talked about it. But the best diet is less calories and more exercise. That's all there is to it."

Taylor- The advice giver replied: "I have tried it. It really doesn't do much. If you start eating fruit and veggies, you think it might be doing better, mainly it is all in your head. I paid for Mona Vie for ONE month and the total turned out to be 200$ flat. RIP OFF. It only lasted for a month and I couldn't feel a difference at all. Now if you NEVER eat good food, maybe it will do wonders, but to me I didn't really feel anything different."

Dr.Who replied: "it was talked about on both shows. In my medical experience the only good diet though, is one with about 1.5k calleries and good daily exciercise.Ive never tried this said diet, but one of the nurses here at the hospital i work at swares by it. Hope that helps:) Dr. Who M.D"

Henry P replied: "Hi, I've been using them for a couple months now, well I should rephrase that I used them for a couple months and found they worked quite well helped me achieve my weight loss goals and now I can manage my weight fine but yeah, while I used the product I found ti worked very well. I only needed to lose 15lbs but I also coupled these supplements with some diet and exercise. I knew diet and exercise alone would help me but I needed something to help me with my mid afternoon snacking urges..this is where I found the acai berry helped me. It helped to curb those mid afternoon urges which meant when I went jogging later that night I wasn't just jogging to work off that bag of doritios I was actually working off the weight I wanted.. After a couple months I no longer needed the supplements and could manage my weight easier..but as far as which one should you take honestly my opinion is I don't think it ultimately matters, either would work. I got my free trial bottle from the site below"

Looking for someone who has tried the acai berry diet as seen on oprah or Dr. Oz does it really work..? Is there anywhere you can get samples without having to put in a credit card # to try it..I would just like to buy a bottle or two and not have to worry about canceling if I dont like it. I have done stuff like that before and got screwed..

Jenny replied: "I have been through it all and know what's it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can't be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I've worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes. Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight. First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can't eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising... This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it's good for the heart. However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It's so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I've found a great addition to help any one out, it's a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don't get all crazy on me and say diet pills don't work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn't meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It's an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace .com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it's the best pill I've tried and I've tried cupboards full. Now this doesn't mean you have to follow my foot steps but I've successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day. Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate"

Has anyone ever really tried the Acai Berry diet and have you seen any results? I keep seeing these ads on myspace and facebook about this particular diet that Oprah and Dr. Oz speak very highly of. I just need to shed a good 20 by March so has anyone really tried it?

YA Junkie replied: "Hi: Whatever you do, don't order acai through the internet. Try to find acai by Sambazon in a health food store. I got scammed by two acai companies, and I don't want to see that happen to you. In particular, be very cautious about ordering free trials of acai. Do a search for "Acai Berry Scams" on google. I am speaking from personal experience. I ordered a free trial of Acai Berry Power 500. On my next credit card, I noticed an extra charge of $29.95 from that acai company. I called them and they said I had agreed to a personal nutrition consultation for $29.95. Long story short, I had to threaten them with a lawsuit before they refunded that extra charge. I also ordered Acai Berry Supreme. A few weeks later, I got another bottle in the mail, even though I never asked for it. I left the shipping box unopened and wrote on it: Return to Sender. Do Not Charge My Credit Card for This Product. Then I put the item back in a mailbox. I am worried about what my next credit card will say. I've heard of people being charged $89 for the next shipment. So, did I make my point? If not, take a look at this link: Acai is a fruit grown in central and south America. I don't know if all the powders and juices do any good at all. However, if you still want to try acai, I would go to the following link and click on Organic Acai Supplements. That's the only way I would buy this stuff. You can get it in most health food stores. "

Acai Berry..Oprah..Rachel Ray...need help finding it? Has anyone tried it and lost weight? I have been trying to find the acai berry diet pills that everyone has been talking about on Oprah and Rachel Ray. Does anyone know the actual product name, used it, lost weight, and can tell me where they bought it. My wedding is in 6 months..I need to look great. Thanks

BillyBobJoe replied: "It is not a weight loss product! i has antioxidents that make you feel healthier, but it is not a magic berry that sheds pounds. don't waste your money. also, it hasnt been on either oprah or rachel ray. check their websites. any product every featured is listed. its not there."

dP replied: "I don't know who Rachel Ray is but NEVER listen to ANYTHING Oprah says on the subject of weightloss..."

Love a replied: "I think you are thinking of what you have seen online from those annoying spams that say you can buy from a "free trial". DO NOT get that one, it is a scam that charges you more money after a few days and they get your card info because your free trial included you getting charged for shipping which is usually inexpensive. I will strongly suggest going to gnc.com and take a dietary supplement with the acai berry in it. And remember lite exercise will help you also, this should work if your wedding is 6 months away!"

You can buy in bulk or you can buy individual bottles. I buy the individual bottle. It cost about 39.00 but it is totally worth it. It taste wonderful and ever since I started using the juice I have noticed fewer headaches less menstural cramps and all together better living. the website I purchase my products from is I hope this helps you.."

Has anybody actually tried the Acai Berry Diet? I was watching Oprah the other day, and the entire show was about this little acai berry. I've been doing some research online, and it's hard to tell what's fact and what's fiction. Has anybody actually had RESULTS using acai berry products? Or is it another "Green Tea" fad... Thanks!

Albert B replied: "Hi, I understand your question and concern about the acai berry especially since this fruit is gaining such popularity due to being featured on such TV’s shows as The Today Show, Rachael Ray and Oprah. But let me share with you my experience. I've been using acai berry products for a couple of months now and I've noticed that yes they do work. I used them when I wanted to trim off about 15lbs. douglasboldt replied: "Olivia, The Acai (ah-sigh) berry is a purple colored berry that grows in regions of South American on certain palm trees. Natives of the regions where Acai berry fruit grows have long since known of the valuable health properties of the Acai berry and are now enjoying the notoriety of the Acai berry and the financial benefits its production and harvesting is bringing their region. The USDA recognizes some of the value of the Acai berry and has conducted some studies to determine whether or not the claims of the health benefits of consuming Acai berries are true. To date, some of these studies have supported the idea that the Acai berry can create healthier conditions in the body that work to slow down aging and promote more healthier conditions through the body. Similar to some other vitamins but considered to be one of the superfoods of the world as well, the Acai berry cannot be considered like any other vitamin or even superfood that is known to man. From its humble origins and start on the palm trees, the Acai berry is said to support the body in a host of ways that challenge medical science in terms of their continue use of prescription drugs which are often unnatural chemical introduced to the body. If you are interested in exploring an Acai berry product, be sure to check with your local health food store or even conduct an online search and you may be surprised to find that there are a great deal of manufacturers, supporters, independent agents and the like who not only offer free samples but who are regular purchasers and users of Acai berry themselves."

i really want to try the acai berry diet? I really want to try the acai berry diet shown on oprah and Rachel ray. My mom thinks its a scam and it doesnt work and shes really against it. Amarion replied: "I have used every diet under the sun but nothing worked as good as acai berry. I know they say that pills do not work, nevertheless they sure worked for me, and they have been showcased on CNN too. There's a free trial on right now at , give it a try, what is the worst that could happen?"

Robin D replied: "I tried this and I found that it really doesn't work. Plus, you have to be careful when ordering. Read the fine print. You have to send the product back if you choose not to purchase it otherwise your debit/credit card is charged the full amount of the product. Plus, you have a limited time to send the product back. Most of those companies use the SHIP date, not your RECEIVED date, as the starting off point. Really, watching what you eat and exercising is the best way to lose weight."

Zalamel replied: "Yes, and exercise would never work right? Acai doesn't work, because just eating something won't make you lose weight. 25-30 sit-ups 3 times a day, EVERY day. Jog, ride your bike, treadmill, push-ups. Eating won't make you lose weight, exercise will."

nina p replied: "the acai berry diet is a con, they are a super berry like blueberry's that claim to make you lose weight, they don't , they are slow releasing energy foods like oats, blueberry's and may Other things , they don't make u lose weight on there own."

theCardiffGiant replied: "It does not work. Any effects are psychological, like placebo (sugar pills). If you believe that something you're doing is healthy, and if you want to be healthy, you'll generally do lots of little things to make yourself healthier along the way. But it does not work long term, acai doesn't have any genuine health benefits, and it is marketed by scammers as a miracle cure. The only thing amazing about it is the profit that they make from desperate people. Please stay away. The only thing that works is diet and exercise. And by diet, I don't mean a program, like "THE SUCH AND DIET" or the "I only eat fruit diet." Diet means what you do on a regular basis, and what you need to do is to control calories. It will seem difficult at first, but when you realize how many empty calories you take in, and how much control you have over it, it becomes relatively easy to manage. However, it will always seem impossible, and it will always leave you in search of miracles until that reality clicks for you. I've lost 15 lbs in the past two weeks by making sure that I don't eat more than 1500 calories a day, and by spending 30 minutes on an elliptical machine. The younger you are, though, the more calories you'll need. (As we age our need to create new cells decreases, and our calorie needs diminish. Most people continue to eat at the same high levels, beyond what their bodies need, and so gain weight as they age.) It doesn't matter much where those calories come from, but you'll want to make sure that you get all of the vitamins and minerals you need, so it should come from real food like vegetables and meat, rather than bread and soft drinks. The website linked below will help you to monitor what you're eating. The only proven way to lose or to maintain one's weight is through controlling calories. They enter your body in the form of food and drinks, and they leave through physical exertion. Your body is a kind of machine, and calories are the fuel. But if you flood the engine, you get poor performance or you just plain stall."

Kal-El replied: "If you have been eating right and working out for 6 months with NO results, then; A) your trainer sucks B) your diet sucks ..My guess, since diet is 80-85% of the fight, its your diet. You do NOT need acai berry to lose weight. Humans are ment to be healthy. You NEED to change your diet and, possibly your trainer. If you have not lost any weight in 6 months then that tells us that you are burning the same amount of calories that you are taking in, ergo you are not losing weight. You should be eating 5-6 meals a day to speed up you matabalism and your diet should be high in protien. No results in 6 months calls fora drastic change in your diet. Zalamel, you are wrong. I could workout for 5 hours a day and burn 5000 calories, but if I go to McDonalds and eat 5000 calories (which is easy to do at McDonalds) all my workout goes down the drain. On the other hand, I can not workout one minute and burn 2000 calories from just my daily activites (walking, laughing, and yes even breathing). And if I only eat/consume 1500 calories, well, I just burned 500 calories from fat (and possible muscle if I am not taking a good multi-vitamin). I am not saying do not workout, I am saying you NEED a good diet to lose weight, the workout is only 15-20% of the weight loss fight. DIET IS CRITICAL!"

The Pure Acai Berry Diet Pill - Does it work? I've heard about this diet pill for ages. It was on Oprah and tons of news about this berry everywhere too. I wanted to know if you've tried this, does it work? I am determined to diet and exercise, but would like to also have something to help me as well. So, what are your experiences on this? PS: No negative responses. I'm not looking for that, just looking for some helpful answers. Thanks.

It's just a supplement to make your body work better, it's not a magic weight loss pill. It looks like you are on the right track though if you are determined to both diet and exercise. Most people just diet but don't exercise either because they don't have time or are lazy. You may want to combine the Acai Berry with a weight loss tea like this girl did here: As far as which brand of Acai you get, I don't think it really matters. Acai Berry diet, does it work? I see ads for it everywhere lately and it was on Oprah, Rachel Ray, CNN, and more. I just need a little boost to my routine and I've read that it works. It's not some magic pill that magically makes you lose weight like some people want you to believe. You may want to consider combining the Acai diet with another supplement like a weight loss tea, like this girl does here: If you already have a good diet/weight loss routine and just want the extra little boost, the Acai Berry will probably work great for you. Some people just take it by itself and expect it to do everything and then complain when it doesn't work, but they were really just too lazy to meet it half way."

Jan M replied: "First hand - I've been using Acai products for years - since the days people thought I was a quirky health nut. On the weight loss front, as a supplement and to give your weight loss efforts a little extra buzz, Acai diet supplements are a real boost. Keep things realistic though. Forget the hype with the "weight melts away" kind of approach. If that where happening I'd be more concerned about my overall health than some extra pounds... The Acai is a tempermental little beauty though. It tends to deteriorate quite quickly after being picked and ALL the goodness in the berry comes from the 20% pulp. The seeds are worthless. Weight loss benefits: Fiber, Amino Acids, Omegas, Phytosterols. All these combine to speed up your metabolism and help you burn more calories as energy, providing an effective boost to your weight loss. Make sure the product you consider is made from freeze dried PULP extract, not seeds. Also make sure you know the quantity of Acai in the capsules. For a full 50mg of freeze dried acai pulp extract, plus added Green Tea Extract, have a look at the website below. Hope this helps"
